Sophisticated Sets for Fall

Fall '23 is a five-piece collection of elevated basics that can be worn as separates or mixed and matched as sets. This micro collection is made in our super soft (GOTS certified organic) mid-weight Pima cotton that wears well in all seasons. Cosy and warm in the cooler months and breathable in warmer temps, this fabric is likely our most popular because it is so versatile for all of our customers in the north and the south.

We are debuting three new pieces this season, the Dream Dress, Cloud Crew, and Luxe Pant along with two of our tried and true styles, the Sailor Tee and Sleep Pant.

After we introduce Ash Black, this season's colour, read on to learn how we love to style these pieces in the most luxurious ways.

 

Introducing Ash Black

Formerly known as Coal, we decided to give this colour a fresh new name that better describes this medium toned washed black. Ash is a softer black and not your average dark inky red or blue hued black. Ash is elevated and modern. Why do we like a softer black? Because it is coloured with low impact OEKO-TEX certified dyes. Deep dark blacks are hard to get without using harsh chemicals that aren't good for our skin or the earth.

Mix all of your previous Ana + Zac pieces in black with any of these new Ash styles for a fluid tonal look. As always, we design with the past, present and future in mind. Creating our collections mindfully is to help ensure that all of your A + Z pieces are cohesive and flow beautifully together for years to come. 

Dream Dress

The Dream Dress is our first true dress. A modern silhouette that's anything but basic, our Dream Dress can be worn solo or over pants like our wide leg Sleep Pant or the tapered Luxe Pant. The 'just above' knee length works as a dress or as a tunic which gives this piece a multitude of styling options.

The wide Mock neck is super soft and cosy up top and perfect for those that don't love a tight rolled neckline. The drop shoulder and big sleeve tapers at the wrists for a voluminous and modern shape which is flattering on all bodies.

Also flattering is the a-line shape which allows for straight and curvy shapes alike to feel lots of room to move. We also added a deep shoulder panel which makes for an interesting drape in the front and the back.

Layer this dress over your favourite Fitted Tank or Tank Bra because if it gets hot (or not ;) you can just just tie it around your waist for a cool streetwear inspired look.

Luxe Pant

The Luxe pant is a fresh (and luxe) take on our popular Basic Pant. After wearing our Basic Pant for a long time (and listening to all of you) we decided to make some changes to improve the fit in terms of comfort, style and wearability.

We added a wide bottom rib cuff to increase durability and all day support. A cuff keeps the bottom hem from rising up and fits well into boots without bunching. We also made the waistband wider with less stitching for an even more comfortable fit. The new fake fly allows for the fabric to lay more flat on the front mid section creating a very flattering silhouette.

This unisex friendly style is paired best with our Cloud Crew for that modern pyjama anyone in your family can wear. You can also style it under our Dream Dress for a cool lounge set which allows for a sophisticated casual vibe you can take out to work or dinner and always feel dressed up yet so comfy. Our Sailor tee and the Luxe Pant work well together for a more fitted set you can wear just about anywhere. Add a vintage wool coat over the mix for a fully polished look.

Cloud Crew

We decided to forgo our Classic Crew this season and give you a fresh long sleeve with special details. This unisex crew is styled off of our Waffle Crew from a few seasons ago, and there is a reason we brought this popular shape back.

Our Cloud Crew has a curved hem and a front neck v-patch, both nostalgic details from the long sleeves of our childhood. The flattering front and back curved hemline is shaped to protect your bottom lower mid sections in a soft and subtle way. 

When you need to work, the cuffs hold your sleeves up. Plus, a rib trim cuff always allows for extra sleeve hem durability and comfort. These sleeves are staying exactly where you want them and never stretching out.

 

Sleep Pant

Everyone's favourite pant is back. Our Sleep Pant is our ultra comfy wide leg pant that’s perfect for all day and all night for the most chill vibes. Sleep in them, wear them out, or do both. 

Pair with any of our Ash Black pieces for a full tonal set or wear with a white tee for a modern contrasting look. We love to play with shapes and silhouettes and this pant will not disappoint if you are looking for a soft yet structural fit. Try it with our Bodysuit for a femme and sporty ensemble.

Sailor Tee

Our best selling Sailor Tee returns because we just had to make it in Ash Black. Inspired by the classic French Breton naval tee fit but sewn in our super soft Pima cotton this boatneck fits like a glove and can be worn more fitted or relaxed, however you want it, it works.

We love the slight crop to the sleeve, a feminine nod giving your wrists a little breathing room.

Hitting at mid hip, this length works for so many shapes, not too long and not too short so you can wear it with literally anything. We love pairing it with our short brief, our favourite pair of jeans or any one of our pants this season for a full tonal look in sophisticated black. Pair our Sailor Tee with the Sleep Pant for a sleek and dressy nighttime feel or with our Luxe Pant and one of our our Alpaca Beanies for casual weekend vibes.
